THE FARM

FloraQuest is situated at the top of the hill near Lake Mendocino in Redwood Valley, CA. The land has been cultivated as a permaculture haven for 50 years, and has hosted countless interns, WWOOFers, and curious minds. Our flowers are tucked between fruit trees, perennial and native plants, and year-round vegetables.

We are currently expanding to a second site that is gently sloped land surrounded by oak woodlands and located in the southwest hills of Willits, CA.

 The unique microclimate here is characterized by mild, wet winters followed by very hot and dry summers. The growing season is year-round, though, we farm for only three seasons as of right now.
